I recall seeing - at the time "10 New Songs" was released, in the official website, I think - a snapshot of LC with the caption "Happy at last".

"Happy at last Tour" might be approprite as well...

I like the tone of "Happy at Last" [though not necessarily happy about the being on the grueling road again... but maybe so, since he's connecting directly with his fans ~ anyway, I like the tone].

Yeah, rags and feathers together resonated with me a lot, too (rather like the Yeats quote on my sig. did) Particularly since I have a number of rescue birds (pigeons), it seemed a good name to take on -- it's my myspace name as well....

Yes, I agree on your Yeats quote, too. I noticed, but forgot to mention that. I'm pleased to hear you're helping pigeons. Such an oft-reviled bird, but I've always loved them. The bird in your photo looks like a dove. I like the 'movement' in the photo with both of you.

She's a pigeon too...a white one (pigeons actually are a type of doves, though not all doves are pigeons.)

That's "Psyche" in the picture -- probably the tamest of all my birds. She was born with a bad splay leg, which has caused wing and tail problems, rendering her flight very limited. She'd sit on my lap all day if she could, and likes to flap around my face and preen me, which is what you see in the picture.

Pigeons get a very bad rap, certainly, but they are wonderful, playful, and very intelligent birds -- get them healthy, and they are also beautiful and very clean -- quite different from the feral ones most of us are used to seeing, who scavenge for a living and are generally malnourished and often ill (not generally with diseases that humans can catch, though, contrary to popular belief.)

I got started with pigeons about 3 years ago, when 2 babies were born on my window ledge. The building management was destroying nests and pigeon babies, much to my horror, so I snapped the babies up out of the nest before they could get to them, and learned how to hand raise them. In doing this, I became connected with the local avian rehab community.

Since then, several other wounded or ill pigeons have come my way -- I've rehabbed them, and they joined my little flock. I've been instrumental in helping find homes for a number of others as well.

Just one of my many idiosyncracies! Anyhow, this has nothing to do with Leonard's tour, but since we don't have any news yet.... sigh....
