I am wondering if this thread will get to 50 pages? - I guess it depends on when the announcement comes. if it does not come until next week I guess it will.
Will Leonard play any of the French dates on the scheduled dates? - I guess that depends on what the announcement says.
And I guess people out there in the real world are going ahead buying tickets if they are available and want to go.
As many have posted that is a concern.

Why doesn't everyone take a deep breath or two and calm down. I totally support Marie's email 100%. I am sure Jarkko will tell us when he is able to. Lets all think positive for a world tour whenever it is.
In the worst case scenerio if the concerts are postponed
I thought hotels let you cancel reservations if you give 48 hours notice
and so that leaves airfare which is a drag...I put out a lot of money for a last minute ticket to Denver in June, rental car and hotel...
as did many others and we ended up having the concert postponed..and you know what?
as disappointed as I was I had a fabulous time and met so many great people that I am friends with now...Lady Di, Kelsey, Roman, Mary B and George, Lizzy, Greg and look what happened to me!!!HA HA! I now am devoted to going to many concerts as I can afford.
I think you should listen to Jarkko's advice about AEG and just wait...
"sitting quietly, doing nothing, the grass grows by itself..."
Very difficult to do but it has been so wild on the forum I just wanted to say..step back and take a look at what you are saying
and relax...

Maybe if you spend full price on the cost of the room you can, but in this age of the internet people go for the cheapest deals, and the cheap deals (not much cheaper often, maybe only 10% off, but sometimes maybe half price) you have to pay for the entire cost of the hotel when you book it. There are no refunds. Many people will have to go to France anyway next month, just because they have spent so much they can't get back - much more than the cost of the concert ticket - on travel/hotels. And then they'll have to return again in the Autumn, maybe, for the rescheduled concert. It's obvious that the expected postponment will cost some people more than 1000 euro each in extra expenses. Not something to be dismissed the way some on here seem to be doing. If YOU stood to lose €1000/£950/$1400 would YOU be quite so blase about this whole situation? Surely you can understand people's impatience? The clock is ticking. The first (hopefully) concert is little more than three weeks away. We need to know if it's happening, so we know how much money we need to find from somewhere (to book travel/hotels for the rearranged date) if it isn't... The idle rich may find it funny, but us idle poor need to know where we stand.

Precisely my point. But no return in the Autumn for me. This was going to be a very special trip. I've also got pet care booked that I can't get out of & other trips in the year I'm committed to. So feel rather annoyed with people who haven't spent a penny telling me to relax. We are now nearly a week since the first announcement of an announcement & still waiting.

People keep mentioning airfares. These are trains that are booked. Eurostar & internal trains through France all booked. All non refundable.

Exactly. Can people who are not remotely affected by the possible postponement of these concerts please stop telling those of us who are, to relax. It really doesn't help and sounds awfully patronising. No one is doing anything wrong, people are just concerned, that's all. And of course our number 1 priority is Leonard's health, just as it is yours.
I can't take any more of this "just relax like me" stuff. I think this does as much to rile the situation as anything else

Totally agree. Our anger/disgust/comments should be directed to those responsible for this mess - namely AEG.

I don't think anyone means to be patronising, but the situation is out of your control, there is nothing you can do about it, and dwelling on things to come will not make any difference.
The only thing AEG are responsible for are the concerts. The flights, hotels, etc are not their concern, if the concerts are cancelled or rescheduled then you will get your ticket money back.

Confetti stated "The only thing AEG are responsible for are the concerts. The flights, hotels, etc are not their concern..."
This of course, in the strictest sense, is absolutely correct, however what happened to good old fashioned customer service. Service for, and to, the people who keep AEG in business and pay their wages. No one is denying that there can be unavoidable reasons for cancelling events of any sort, that is not the point in question. The point is the partial release of information which has caused all of these pages of comments and the continued sale of tickets on AEG's own website when other members of the Forum have seen notices outside concert halls indicating concerts being postponed. What they are doing may not be illegal but it must surely be considered to be immoral. In a situation such as this I believe that it is the right of all to complain about the manner in which this whole affair has been conducted by AEG.

It would probably be prudent to hold off complaining to AEG before the full facts have been made available, and whatever statement they eventually get round to making is made. It would look rather silly if they suddenly announced (even if it looks unlikely right now) "All concerts will go ahead as scheduled," because as people have pointed out before, the "non announcement" wasn't exactly an announcement from AEG, more of an early warning from Jarkko that things are looking problematic.
If it does turn out that concerts are cancelled or postponed, and it looks like AEG has withheld information about shows they have known are postponed or cancelled yet continued to sell tickets for (like it does right now for Caen), well by all means, anger and disappointment at the way AEG conducts itself would be appropriate sentiments.

Let's raise a glass
To our dear friend Jarkko
Who's doing his best
To keep us out of the darko
He tells us what he can
And hints at more
But its not his choice
When we are let through the door
So until others come clean
And the truth comes out
Let's raise another glass
To our dear friend Jarkko
I know its a rubbish poem, but what the hey!
In Jarkko we
STILL trust

I would just like to repeat that I am VERY grateful to Jarkko for the "early warning" he gave us last weekend. I was beginning to panic that the French shows were only a month away and that I still had not got all my travel arrangements in place. If I had not been alerted to the possible problems I would have spent this week completing my bookings and my sunk costs would probably be at least double.

I stand to lose the money for the flight and hotel I have booked for Bratislava - if it is cancelled/postponed. Whilst that is irksome I am mostly disappointed at the possibility that I might not be able to see Leonard and band after all. That is, for me, the hardest pill to swallow at the moment.
