So they dropped Secret Life also, as I expected. What's with Sharon 2nd verse in Born In Chains?

For what I know, i.e., Grenoble's performance, it's Hattie Web who has sung this verse. I mean, she has taken a verse during Born In Chains, so i suppose it's Sharon's one. For it was the first time I 've heard the song. And Born in Chains is the only song he has introduced to the audience as a new one.

I can only speak for the Caen performance, but Leonard definitely sang Sharon's verse starting 'I fled to the edge...'. If you wade through viewtopic.php?f=3&t=22423, you'll find the conjectured lyrics and who normally sings each verse.

Thanks for the setlist - definitely helps with our memory problems re when 'Hey that's No Way' was played at Caen. Hope you enjoyed 'Heart With No Companion' - we had 'Lover, Lover, Lover' slipped in in its place, which suited me .

I've taken a look at the topic you suggested and it helps me to say that it actually happened in Grenoble just the same as what you report from Caen's performance : i'm sure Hattie Web sang a verse, but i couldn't say nor remember the words. On the other hand, what is pointed out as Sharon's verse, I'm sure LC. did sang these lines.

You're right to notice there is one difference between theses two first shows in France : the last song. Heart with no companion was really good to me, because it's a beautiful song and because i hadn't heard it live yet !

Comments:
1. There was no third encore. The last 4 songs were played without leaving the stage.
2. Sharon wasn't on stage yesterday night. Leonard sang her part of Born in Chains. Of course no Boogy Street and In my Secret Life. Sharon will be on stage tomorrow (information from a member of the band). *Excuses for this too optimistic interpretation of the words spoken*
3. Very special end of the show: Closing time after I tried to leave you! Very confusing for us and obviously even for some bandmembers!!
4.Perfect show with Leonard singing better than ever. For us this - and the indeed sublime Webb Sisters - compensated the absence of Sharon, but of course we hope to see (and hear) her singing in Lille.
