Oops, my comment disappeared... Let's try again
Thanks, Jarkko!
It seems there's no that much fuss about these venues. I managed to purchase front row middle tickets for each gigs (but I had to use my Mom's card for the second as my own is practically empty now. I'm so not looking forward to telling her...).

Which one, Paul? St Margarethen?
I plan to go from Zagreb to Salburg first and then to Graz. *scratcheshead*
Btw, isn't there anyone here from Hungary who will attend the St Margarethen concert?

Yes ... not sure I have definitively found it on the map but I think it's between Salzburg and Innsbruck

St Margarethen is in Burgenland (in Burgenland-Croatian language: Gradisce) as the full name of the town is
Sankt Margarethen im Burgenland. The town is near Eisenstadt (Croatian: Željezno), on the border with Hungary.
This is important to say as there are few Sankt Margaret(h)en, and there's also Sankt Margarethen im Lungau, in the Austrian state of Salzburg, and there's also St. Margarethen an der Sierning - so this show is in BURGENLAND.
The venue, Römersteinbruch, is renowned opera stage (Opernfestspiele St. Margarethen). The site of Opernfestspiele St. Margarethen already announces Leonard Cohen:
http://www.ofs.at/p-20722.html so apparently they're the local promoter.

Congratulations Paul! I would love to be going to St Margarethen -it looks like a wonderful venue - but I resisted. I did think seriously about Graz as it's the day after Salzburg but what stopped me (apart from the the look on Tony's face that is) is that it would mean doubling back upon ourselves a couple of days after the drive up from Zagreb and another 600 km on my own car. Common sense prevailed for once (though Tony may feel differently about Graz when he realises that I am planning our very own Sound of Music tour for that day!)

St Margarethen is about 10 km from Eisenstadt, about 50 some kms from Vienna (south/south-east), very close to the Hungarian border. I think.
