Lucky you paul. Has anyone met The Man yet this year in Dublin?
Met him in Busarus this morning, we were both getting onto the Mullingar Express. We shared a Mars bar (his) and coffee. When we got there I walked him through the town and he asked me to take some photographs of him at the Joe Dolan statue. Took one or two on my camera phone and will upload them here when I get time to bring the phone to the chemist and get them developed. I know he bought the Joe Dolan box-set in local record shop, told me he didn't have "Teresa" and "Make Me An Island" in his collection. Then we got a lift out to Joe's grave with a guy in a tyre-van. It was very touching. Just waiting for bus back as I write this, laptop in hand.

Lol... funny funny. I waited for hours at the Chelsea Hostel on Gardiner Street on sunday night on the off chance i would see him as he made his way to his dormitory, but I must have been a bit late as I had to walk there. I am sure someone gave Leonard a lift.

Good Morning all
What a joy and pleasure it was to be able to again see Leonard and his superb musicians in virtuoso form at last night's [Mon] concert --A huge thanks to Jarkko and The Files for the presale ticket opportunity --I was in seat 5th Row from front and it will be possibly the only time I could ever experience Leonard as if he was in my own living room !!!!--being so close I can definitely tell you that Leonard and the Band gave it their all and enjoyed themselves in the process --their reaction to the enthousiastic crowd applause was obvious from all the smiles .
I was there also on Sunday and agree with Irishmar that Monday had the edge and compared very well to the atmosphere in Kilmainham last year . The crowd really got involved last night
Leonard deserves his day off to day and if he decides to go walk about [inspite of terrible rain ] he can relax that I won't bump into and talk to him as I did last year --I am now retired and out of the city !!!--
To those who have yet to attend the remaining concerts you are in for a treat and for special concert memories that will remain with you for the rest of your lives
Thank you Leonard
Charco

We'd been at the Sunday concert and we enjoyed it sooooooooo much except of the screens.
I'm really surprised that they were apparently all the same, yesterday!
Fortunately we had excellent seats, so we didn't need the screens but I think it was really bad for
others.
But the concert was fantastic. First we were a little bit sad because Leonard gave no introduction during the first section, although we love his voice and what he has to say.
Fortunately it changend during the second part

. And he did his recitation of a thousand kisses
deep, which I love so much.
At Jury's we were very glad that we could find some of the files. We really enjoyed the meet up with
Heike, Jim and his family and Tony. What a pity that we couldn't see more but there were far too many people.
Tony, you were right, the walk to Sandymount wasn't long at all

.

Thank you so much for your So Long Marianne YouTube. This one has to be the best of the entire tour and the Dublin crowd starred (as they did last year). Can't wait to see A thousand Kisses Deep.

thanks very much for that you tube link.
So long Marianne did alright capture the the whole excitement in the O2 arena and was probably the best song of the night. Although i thought Famous Blue raincoat was performed to perfection. Was really overwhelmed by how he sung it.
great show

I see you're still at it Red Poppy!! You missed SOME show last night. I can't believe the difference one night makes. I was blown away last night. Leonard seemed so much more into it than he was on Sunday. I think he was tired. Simple as that. Who is driving his schedule criss-crossing Europe at breakneck speed. He must have had a restful night Sunday night and was AWESOME last night. The sad part for me is that I reckon he'll be even better, if that's possible, on tomorrow and thursday and I won't be there.

Anyone selling a ticket?? Anyway all you ludky lucky ones who are going you'll have a brilliant time. Let me know if my prediction is right................ring the bells!

Oh that is great news to hear.
. I am in block A on thurs and had a look at the seat when I was there on sunday... its at a weird angle to the stage so I guess it will be the screen for me this time.

I have to agree with Aido that last night's concert was way better than Sunday night.
1. Leonard's voice seemed stronger
2. He passed more comments which really thrilled the crowd
3. The crowd was much better i.e more vocal and the whole atmosphere seemed better
4. The version of So Long Marianne was the best I have experienced in the eight concerts I have been to
5. Leonard seeemed to be more relaxed and jovial.
My regrets again to all those who came from abroad and to all those who did not have good seats and especially to Heike, Rainer and Karin from Germany, that the screen were so out of synch on Sunday night. What a let down in a modern stadium!
To those fortunate to have tickets for Wednesday and Thursday I wish you all a concert as good as last night's. See you all next year in Limerick when Leonard plays in Thomond Park to a sell-out Munster crowd!
