Hello, I'm a new member, I'd like to contribute my $10 to the plaque effort, if possible by debit. I will check the link again about the plaque and see if there's any indication there as to how to submit the contribution. I think it's a wonderful idea and I'm so glad this website is here! I'm a fan of Leonard since 1974 and have seen him in concert a couple of times, waaay back when!

I think that is a great thing to do and I will contribute by palpal. I made a special trip to NY in May to see him and I will be at the open air Weybridge concert here the UK in ten days time. I wondered when sightseeing in NY, that there was no mention of Leonard outside the Chelsea Hotel.
I suppose that means another trip to the States to see it. !!!! AND I am the same age as Leonard too. !! Sylvie.. London

Thanks for continuing kind words and donations. Definitely plan to post plaque photos - but probably still best to use a Chelsea visit as an excuse to come to New York City!

Any idea of approximate timing of the celebration of the plaque? September 21st?.
BTW "unveiling" in the Jewish religion refers to the unveiling of a tombstone one year after of the burial of the deceased. Hopefully, premature by decades!!

Dick, thanks for the great Idea! Just sent 20 dollars for me and my husband. We surely won't be at the unveiling (a bit far from Prague, Czech Republic

Sorry if I used an incorrect term -- but have heard it in the sense I used it.
No idea at all of the timing of getting the plaque, let alone giving it to the hotel and/or hanging it in its correct location. Will provide whatever I know about it here when there are some plans in place.
