Now I have received something, too, but just some basic user data "to enable you to book on line at Tele Ticket Service". Strange; given that I have booked with them already (I hope!!) and they have got my credit card details and everything... :?

I got two emails: the basic user one to enable future bookings, and one containing a link to download my e-ticket. If you selected international delivery and not e-ticket then you won't get the second one. Maybe you will get a confirmation of posting etc, but that may not happen for months. If you are worried, call them to check that everything is in order.

Since in my panic I didn't check to see exactly where my seats were, can anyone tell me how many seats there are in each block and the order? Eg if you are in seat 1 of block 4, will you be next to block 3 or block 5? And which seat is, roughly, the middle seat in each block?

Thanks to anyone who knows.

I just (5 minutes ago) bought my tickets through this link. So either the regular sale has just started or I was just lucky. Anyway, we are going to see Leonard again! :D

Hi,
I already emailed Jarkko that the link is back up. Earlier today it said something like "Sale starts soon"... So we thought the presale tickets were all sold out!
Still tickets available now, row 3 and 4, centre blocks (2-5).

See you all there!

I presume people have received the e-ticket email (who selected that option). Has anyone clicked on the link and actually downloaded an e-ticket yet, rather than getting the error message?

Well I dunno but I live in Kent and apparently Antwerp is two hours from Calais so it seems maybe more accessible than amsterdam last year, the palace in Belgium which was sold out before it opened or Paris for which you needed a drawdown facility on the mortgage to buy the ticket. And there are still 49 euro standing tickets. I wonder about a carshare. Let me know if you are interested (but I'm not making any promises to go at this stage...)
...more...or less...or more again...the rest is plain to see..

The train from Brussels to Antwerp takes just 40 minutes so I am going to stay with a friend in Brussels. The last train back looks suitably late enough. Antwerp has a subway system at one end of which is the Sport stop.

Was anybody already successful in downloading an eticket from the presales?

I still get an error message " An error occured while retrieving your Home Ticket
Your e-Ticket is not yet available, please try again later."...

Thanks,

I phoned Teleticket and they sent me a new email but the same problem arose. They said that this sometimes happens with non-Belgian purchasers, muttering something about firewalls and PCs. They said tickets could be picked up on the day at the SportPalais with reference number and ID.

Antwerp - some hopefully useful info

Post by havacuppatea »

Hi Guys .... if anyone is thinking of seeing The Man in Antwerp & travelling from the UK:

VLM airlines fly from both London & Manchester directly into Antwerp - they currently have tickets from £15 each way plus taxes from Manchester - we paid the equivalent of GBP 117 total for two.

Expedia is a great place to book all the travel - they have a good hotel / flight range & if you purchase both togetther they give a consolidation discount. Four nights flight & hotel start from just over GBP 400 - which is a bargain. We are in some 4* joint in the centre (Residence Hotel) at at totlal cost for hotel & flights of GBP 460 - seems ok to me.

The airport is only some 4 miles from the centre so transit times & costs are constrained too :)

Finally - if you book your concert tickets through the link on this site - may I say what a refreshing change to the UK based agencies - we paid GBP 18 booking fee & postage to see The Man in Liverpool; whereas the Antwerp gig was only Euro 4.2 including international postage AND free public transport travel to the event!

Hope this helps - & enjoy the shows. Cheers.
