Yes, these vines only work on the goodwill of everyone. This is not only about receiving discs. One is supposed to be passing them on to the next one on the list, so that this person is able to continue the vine. I also believe that those who have halted the vines should have the decency to stop participating in new ones (or at least post the discs they have and/or answer their PMs before joining new vines)
