Thanks Sheila.
Yeah looking forward to the meetup also. Sounds like the Harbournaster is already popular with the Cohenites.
Wafflewaitress,
I've tried that walking around in a few places hoping to" bump "into Leonard myself, it hasn't happened so far, but has for some forum members (there are pics on several threads), and they've all come away feeling good about it, so ya never know.
Yes there will be a good few of us going to Krakow.

Hi JD
The Harbourmaster is in the IFSC. They have a website with their location on it. I've not been there myself yet, but am hoping it's within walking distance of the O2.
I'd say between 5 to 5.30 for the meetup.?

Hi folks,
...ok for a newbie to tag along maybe?..I'm going with a friend but would like to meet up with anyone from here doing so before the gig..
..how do these things usually work? I mean have you some of you met before already?..how do we know who's who?...A red carnation perhaps?

I have to say though I would be slightly averse to wearing a big name badge with 'L.C Files Website. Hi! I'm Wafflewaitress!'...
..But I'm probably not alone in that..
Would love to be going to all the gigs like yourself Gregor! *
seethes with jealousy*..

There'll be a mixture of newbies and regulars at the pre concert meetup ( I'll have 3 newbies with me ),

so no problem there. I'm hoping the Harbourmaster will set aside a section of the bar for us which would make it easier for everyone.
Hi Quiet girl and welcome to the Forum.
There's no "support" act, and the show usually starts pretty much on time at 8pm . Yes it's possible to walk from the Green to the O2. it takes about 40 to 45 minutes. Of course you can always stop off at the Harbourmaster Bar on the way.

Dear quiet girl
No need to be nervous in Dublin. The natives are friendly. Why dont you come to the Harbourmaster for a drink before the shows. There is usually no opening act. Leonard IS the act! He usually stays on stage about 3 hours, yes yes, I know.... amazing!
It is a bit of a walk from st Stephens green to the O2.... I suggest you take a cab and it should not be more than ten euro max.
Hope you have a great time when you get here
Tinders.

Hey Waffler

I dont like the idea of carnations or name tags ( so american) We Irish always talk to anyone that talks to us and that is how I met some of the forum members last year at the Brazen Head. Looking forward to meeting everyone soon. As you and I are friends, maybe we can meet some morning and go on a Leonard hunt and see if we spot him
Obviously I am lazy.... yes you can walk it in 45 mins lol.

Obviously you are lazy ... but yes, you can walk it in 45 minutes, too. With your sticks. And all the Dublunatics will stop and point at you and say: "Look there goes Tinder with her sticks".
Cheers to you Dublin meetuppers ... Cologne tomorrow .... yeah.

Ha ha Henning, that's funny. I am going to Wales for those ten mile walks, and you will be there too, so I can take it you will push and pull me all the way if I forget my sticks
