Far, far away from Poland and, unfortunately, we still need visas to enter the USA. No possibility to obain a visa in a few weeks.

There's only one hope - according to the lyrics "first we take Manhattan, then we take Berlin" - I do hope there will be a second special concert here in the heart of Europe, maybe as a gig concluding the second European tour. Who knows...

How lovely - photos by Lorca, meeting fans, being in New York, Leonard having chose to do this for the fans. Wish I wasn't working that weekend, and wish it wasn't Credit Crunch year - otherwise I would have taken my good friend who's never seen New York, for a weekend of delights... Aaaargh. Just the thought of is is making me tremble...

Well, many great people will be there and come here to tell us all (I can picture Maarten or someone else posting a setlist 20 seconds after the concert finishes...).

Hope some of you stay at the Chelsea Hotel (I was there last year... made friends with the guy living in Dylan's old apartment... never found out which was the room in which Janis and Leonard, er, had their chat. Though I think I did ride in the elevator in which it was said, 'Little Lady, I AM Kris Kristofferson!').

Ah... and 'tis perhaps only a measure of the complacency of some of those abroad, after enjoying the smorgasbord of Leonard performances available for these past many months. We in the U.S. see ourselves mentioned and, yes, we do get excited. Rising to the level of hysteria... well, that's debatable... but, for sure, it commands our attention.

And this ~ now ~ is very Very VERY great news !
