Dear Joe Costello ~ Thank you so much for your aggressive beseeching and immense kindness in giving me your set list. I'm sure Mickey D had no idea who "Lizzy" was, but may have related to the length of your extended arm and the chivalry of a man saying "For [a woman's name]!" 8) Thank you, Joe :D !!!

Dear musicmania ~ I don't have a scanner and I have learned everything I know about computers on a need-to-know basis. So, I'm over-the-moon happy to make this my next lesson on your behalf. I had promised at the time that I would scan and send Saturday night's list to someone else, so I will do both at the same time. Does one email a scan? If so, please PM me your email address. You are SO spot on regarding my stress and FINALLY my elation! It was rolled up, but riding in my purse that night, it became flattened and, hence, had irregular 'fold' lines created by that flattening... believe me, though, I. did. not. care. There it was in original full colour and print, carrying that most important date. [Now I can stop being upset with my suitcase and gorgeous new, fedora Leonard Cohen bag, and angry with myself, for failing to produce that set list, no matter how many times or how thoroughly I looked in them, and in as many other places I could possibly think of!] And ~ I've just remembered ~ I have used a scanner at work three times, step by step written down as to how to do it, and they do get emailed, so please send me yours and I will get it to you as soon as I can.

Yes, I, like you, wasn't tear-free on Saturday, either... but I couldn't tell you with which songs they came. They just did. Different songs for different reasons... and different things Leonard said. And an overriding feeling of temporary finality and deep gratitude for all that had preceded it... for these three years and so many years before them.

Hi Lizzy, I have received a photo of the setlist and have being promised a scanned copy over the next couple of days. For future reference though yes you do email the scan as it will retain the original file size. I'd be lost without my scanner. Yes the different things Leonard said had me in tears and still do no matter how many times I listen to them on the download of the concert <3

Well, there goes my lesson... easy come, easy go... ;-) .

Seriously, though, Gwen... I'm happy you have it sorted... and, actually, someone[s] wants me to do one for them, anyway... so all is well and to the question, teacher... are my lessons done, I can happily say they are not.

Hi Lizzie......your more than welcome. I still haven't made it home.
I'm stuck in London at the moment and can't get a flight 'till at least Wed evening to Dublin and then a bus back to Galway (hopefully).
What a great weekend....I mean week....or two weeks by the time I get home. God bless my brother who lives near Gatwick airport and a very understandable boss...

Dear all,
finally I am online again. My/our flight home to Verona was very good with only little delay, but I got ill the day we returned and today is my first day out of bed (without fever).
I really had to pay hard for this trip, but I consider myself lucky as I got an infection on our flight back home and not going to Las Vegas! :D
Now I have time to recover. OK, but this is not the reason why I write in here today.

I want to say thank you for all your wonderful reports, pics and video which I saw in this thread and really confirm the same way of feelings and emotions those both magical nights in the colosseum theatre in Las Vegas , I also confirm the soooo unmagical atmosphere outside the theatre
Las Vegas would have never ever been my destination to go , BUT WE ALL HAD AN UNIQUE REASON AND SURELY WOULD DO IT AGAIN :D

I want to thank to the american /canadian cohenites I/we met (Lizzytysh, MaryB , Diana , granypoe, Jeanne, Lisa, Arlene, Anne from Toronto, Avi & wife and..and .. sorry not remembering all your names, and of course to our old friends Linda & Dick , Anne & Joe, Vern, Valery ...) and to them which I did not meet,(sorry Marie M, I know you were there and we have not met, or did we ?? it made me so upset when I realized we have not met or maybe we met and did not recognize)
Anyway, you all have done a good job with the various organizations. It is a sort of impossibile in Las Vegas to to meetup in a silent place and talk and stay together. I hope we have other occasions.
Thank you also to all our other cohenite friends (old and new ones) with whom we met there and could stay some time together, I will not name you all, it is just impossibile. Even if time together was short we had the most intense farewell time of the tour together, which we surely will never forget. We missed a lot other cohenite friends who could not take part of this experience, but they were with us in our mind.
And of course gratitude goes always to our master Jarkko and Eija without their hard work , all this never would have happened, to Maarten for his big preparations, to Albert and Mary for the videos...and especially to Leonard Cohen with all his group and crew .
THANK YOU UHTC - FOR ALL MEMORABLE MOMENTS
Love, Andrea
(of course all thanks also on behalf of Marco, passiv on the forum, but always very present :D )

@ Gwen
Loved your singing so don't worry about that! Also agree with you that I find it frustrating when people yell out during "a thousand kisses deep" I find this poem so achingly moving...

Can only echo the sentiments about Las Vegas, the strip and the city.... I suppose it didn't help that I spent all my money on securing a good seat at the Collosseum and didn't care that I stayed in a one-star shoebox down the rough end of town!

I just knew I had to be there...

I was lucky to get a very cheap room in The Imperial Palace across the road from Caesars. It was a bit of a dump but served the purpose!

I... can't believe Dublin airport is closed. My biggest worry was Gatwick.
3 legs to go...
Sutton to Gatwick...
Gatwick to Dublin...
Dublin to Galway...

Joe,
Manchester and Liverpool airports are open if there is a chance you can get by train to one of them then home to Ireland.

It is due to re-open at 9.30pm according to Aertel. No snow in Kildare as yet. I pray it stays that way. We got hit bad enough the last time!

Hi Joe, Dublin airport closed from 2015 until at least 2300 when next update released. But if u have the Internet u know this. Currently snowing but reckon it'll be open by AM. Buses n trains to the west all running but get the train if u can, least likely to be delayed r cancelled.

Hope u got out of Vegas n saw some of the desert. I hated Vegas, would never go back ( well maybe for a last concert!), a wasteland, just about lost the will to live on the Saturday afternoon, luckily I had a LC concert to look forward to :) . Anyway, travel safe n good luck with snow.
