On the way home we pulled into that part of Zion that borders I-15, called "Kolob Canyons", which is one heck of a place but treated like a sideshow because the road in there is more a viewpoint than the real Zion road which takes you right into the heart of things.
Nevertheless, I think Andy Warhol might approve of these photos, as the only original part is the lighting caused by the clouds moving in which I had nothing to do with:

As a special treat, I finally figured out how to use the manual settings on my camera - except for the white balance part which is still on auto, messing things up occasionally...
Anyway, tonight when I went for my after Maverick drive south of town I caught a Barn Owl in my headlights, and I took a picture of the Midnight (here) Moon for you...
