I wonder what happened at the pre-show? Attendees must have been sworn to secrecy: not a word has been posted...How strange is that?

We really feel blessed that we were able to attend the show thanks to a wonderful fan club member who sold me his tickets. We have a ton of great photos that I am happy to send to anyone who is interested in seeing them. We did have an unfortunate incident at the show though and I am really hoping that someone can help me. We got to the show early and bought 6 shirts for ourselves and a few friends from the forum and put them under my seat. At some point during the second set, someone stole the bag with all 6 shirts from under my seat. We didn't notice it until after the show. We tried to buy new shirts but they were sold out of all the larger sizes. So if anyone happens to have an extra gray shirt with the Beacon concert design on it in large or extra large, please let me know as I would love to buy one from someone. Also, did anyone happen to get a photo of the Beacon sign where it said "Leonard Cohen Sold Out"? We were so thrown off by the t-shirt incident that we forgot to take a shot ourselves.
Hi Anne... I did the preshow, but not very skillfully, I'm afraid... in the beginning the main room, a large, domed entry room, was freezing I thought, since the doors to the outside kept the cold wind coming through... so my husband and I wound up at the bar in the far back of the place... where we did happen to meet two very lovely people from Canada... (whom I hope I've inspired to check out this forum)... But I heard that Sharon Robinson and the Webb Sisters were there... (damn)... and very pleasant to talk to... I did see someone who I thought was Leonard for a moment... I almost went up to him (I'm shy in those circumstances, and so I have to constantly be overcoming that)... anyway, I realized later it was the brilliant mandolin player from Barcelona, wearing the Leonard fedora hat, and nice jacket, etc... I sighted later (on the way to the bathroom during the intermission) two celebs... Tim Robbins, whom I think appreciated my lavender Agnes B. jacket and deep violet colored Roman dress... and Harvey Keitel (coming out of the men's room, since celebs have to do that too), and who made me wish I didn't leave that key from my old piano back home (this is a reference to the Jane Campion film, The Piano, in case you're wondering)... since I think Harvey and I might have at least made it to drinks after if I'd had that... that is, if I wasn't doing anything with Leonard (okay... I'm slaphappy today)... I hope this at least gets the ball rolling on the "coloring" for the evening...anneporter wrote:I wonder what happened at the pre-show?
