Hey Starshaped- Didn't Manic Street Preachers write "Suicide Is Painless," the theme from M*A*S*H?

Hmm what else do I listen to? Well there’s a lot, but here are a few:
Nothing y'all never heard before...

Bob Dylan
Tom Waits
Bright Eyes
The Stones
Nick Drake
(The occasional) Ani Difranco/Fiona Apple
Belle & Sebastian
Beach Boys (who are better than people tend to give them credit for)
Elvis Costello
Elliot Smith
Janis Joplin
Paul Simon
(Then of course there’s the Rufus Wainwright, (early) Radiohead, Clash, Bouncing souls, Beatles, Phantom Planet, Nirvana, Neil Diamond, Pixies, David Bowie, Old 97's, Outkast..)
I’m not very good at brevity. My apologies:-P

LIB- I agree about the Beach Boys, Brian Wilson is genius. Waits, of course...
"Starving in the belly of a whale..."

Waits has a voice unlike any I've ever heard. And then his lyrics..ahhhh.

btw I think Mike Altman and Johnny Mandell wrote Suicide is painless. I'm not sure though.

Yes, I also cried during "Goodbye Radar" when Hawkeye finds the bear on his bed after being pulled away from the party by "Incoming Wounded."
I think I'm getting choked up right now...

Oh yeah, and when Hawkeye salutes Radar from the OR. His first true salute in his entire tour of duty. Jeez... I'm not kidding, I may cry right now...
