Let's hope for the delay, not the cancellation. Even so late as Fall or Winter would be great, only that it happens.
The disappointment of 10,000 people will be too big. He never played in Croatia.

Well, I understand everyonevery, who booked flights and hotel, but - after a tour of nearly two years, hundred of concerts, 3 continents, all given by man of that age - how many concerts where cancelled at all? Not so much, I think. Just think two years back, what a privilege of a discussion we have now! And compared to other artists (the "other" one I follow is Morrissey, blame my youth in the eightees). Once again, I understand all the trouble with the money ypu spent, but sometimes I'm quite amazed, how fast we all get used to something. Cheers, M.

Sadly, I can't see any interpretation from what jarkko has said other than that the tour is being postponed. It would also explain the delay in announcing this - they are presumably trying to reschedule the gigs for later in the year prior to making the announcement?

Just noticed this 'big announcement' business. Bit disconcerting, but why can this AEG management or whoever is responsible not just make a simple announcement as and when it comes. Why do we always have this 'big announcement coming' business which fuells the wildest speculations. To be very honest, I'm finding it quite annoying. Rant over.
But it's still coming up on the Strasbourg Zenith website
http://www.zenith-strasbourg.fr/Program ... -21254.htm , but don't know if that means anything.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you, Tom. You've been hoping for this concert and disappointed so many times... cancelling it just doesn't seem fair.

Jarrko says "My best advice is that members might consider holding off on booking flights that cannot be changed until the announcement!"
It's that exclamation mark that gives some hope that it's not a cancellation - thank goodness it's not a full stop ...

Yes, the word 'changed' rather than 'refunded' gives some hope of postponement rather than cancellation.
The day before this furore began, I booked a hotel room in Lille ... but fortunately it can be cancelled up to four days before. What cannot be cancelled are the Eurostar tickets I bought when the French concerts were announced ... but, again fortunately, they were very cheap, being booked three months in advance.
Maybe I'll just stay on the train and have a naughty two days in Paris.

Your servant here, he ( Jarkko ) has been told
to say it clear, to say it cold:
It's over, it ain't going
any further ~~~~~~
or
it's a fitful dream the morning will exhaust ~~~~~
or
Leonard is coming to Ireland ~~~~~~

Reading between the lines and adding up the few things that have been said by Jarkko, Leonard's health for whatever reason, may well play a part in any cancellation(s).
Hard to think otherwise, when you add up what has actually been said.

I googled some legal websites and found this article about force majeure situations:

My feeling is there is still a 2010 tour as on Jarkko's signature it still says 2010 and there are even 3 dots after it!!!!
...
those famous 3 dots...
Patience is sure a virtue I wish I had especially at this time.
Lets just hope Leonard is in good health especially after winning this amazing award!
I think he looked beautiful!

What a mist !
But please don't forget, for now we're all Jarkko's word exegetists, that we're waiting for a single information 'important information', and before all that it will be post in the NEWS section.
So there's no use, in my opinion, to expect some new concert dates, or even a new schedule for this day after day stranger 2010 Tour.
I would say, either the tour is canceled, or it is postponed sine die.
But still is to know why ?
I'm surprised with this delayed annoucement, and the adverb 'hopefully", to me, is rather worrying : that means it is something we need to now as quick as possible : in others words, it's crucial, and no minor detail.

Since I have internet access today, I was happy that I could have a look at the forum and now I feel like I'm about to throw up...
I can't even think about the shows, let's just hope he's ok.

I just had to answer this one Matthias. I think you are totally missing the point.
A lot of us travelled to Las Vegas and San Jose to see what we believed to be the last 2 shows for the forseeable future. We considered ourselves blessed to have had the opportunity to see Leonard live in concert over the 2008-9 tour and we would have been content if San Jose HAD been the last show. But then a 2010 tour was announced ... and tickets went on sale. We bought tickets and we made our arrangements accordingly.
I'm not going to say any more until I know WHAT is happening or not happening, and why.
