Blimey - I think I might die and go to heaven if that happened! :D

I do have a good feeling though, it's hard to ignore - I am trying really hard to be objective... I am sure that it is a completely objective good feeling though

Well there must be a reason of some sorts why we are not included with Europe.
So fingers and toes crossed. That's all we an do at the moment, other than keep this thread going.

Hold on ... we haven't heard yet about these remaining concerts in Europe ... ?

I apologise as this probably isn't the correct thread to post this in (any excuse to bump it to the top :D ) but are we to assume that, with the announcement of the Australian/NZ dates, there will be no more dates for Europe?

I believe (from something that Jarkko said somewhere or other) that there are just a handful of European dates in the Summer left to announce. No idea how many or when or where - the only date left which has been mentioned as a goer but not yet officially announced is 11 September in Spain.

After that .... well I suppose it depends when they are planning to take their breaks. I'm guessing October 13 - 28 is one break. August 23 to September 1 may be another, or maybe not.

Looking on the bright side, we must be due something in 2011 if the tour continues into next year ...

didn't Jarkko make it clear at the very start of all this World Tour 2010 activity that the UK was not going to be getting any more concerts? I seem to remember him being quite clear on that

shame, but true, i think. does anyone else remember that?

Hi cpl593h,

I think we all remember Jarkko saying this, but without hope we have nothing! We have to wish hard enough.......

Yes, I remember, and I sort of wondered why we were left out this time, only separated from the rest of Europe by just 22 miles of water. .Even Ireland was included.

Keep the pressure on. I'm hoping that he will return from Bratislava to the UK and Ireland before his break prior to Oz and NZ.

Jarkko reported at the beginning of this tour, and since, that he has no knowledge of any plans for concert(s) in the UK. He is merely reporting what he is aware of at the time. He always acknowledges that there is always a possibility the status could change. Unfortunately, it does now seem likely that there will be no concert here. We are all very sad and living in hope.
I have speculated before that it might be the attempted "bullying" that took place over his concert in Israel, from the posts in the political thread the bulk of it seemed to originate in this country which may have offended. I found it very unpleasant at the time and maybe it upset Leonard, a lack of respect for his freedom of choice, I would not blame him if he felt that way.
On the other hand, it just may be that the tour management believe that the UK has been fully served in the past and that in their judgement venues wont be filled. I don't personally agree, I believe a concert or two in London would be, if not a complete sell out, then pretty close to it. Out of London and further north, maybe not. Ireland? - well that decision was certainly vindicated by the speed of the sell out at Lissidell of the first concert.
If a UK visit is not to be, I will happily treasure the two concerts I was able to attend here and my extraordinary luck in meeting Leonard on one occasion.
