Sorry for my reference to Thursday night. I am so grogged from driving up and down from Limerick at all hours I hardly know what day it is. I meant Friday of course.

I am so excited to hear that Leonard did Anyhow in concert (& with new lyrics, different from the new lyrics in soundcheck, no less)!! That had to be totally awesome! I echo Tineke's hope that this has been captured on video -( where are you, Al or Marie - I'm depending on you & your brilliant videography).
(Tineke: guess your plans changed & you couldn't resist staying for one more. . .good decision, I'm happy for you!)

glad you found my Democracy video, I just uploaded another one from the 11th, not spectacular quality but as video from these shows seems to be fairly scarce so far I thought I'd share anyway.

Hi Gwen, it was great meeting you last night. We were sitting beside you and didn't let the celebs behind us put us off Leonard!! At last I have managed to put a face on someone else from this forum!! I was beginning to believe it was all the work of ONE very fertile imagination! I agree that last night was absolutely fantastic. Leonard was in rare form as were the whole band. I also thank others who commented on my "Lament for Dino". I gave Alex more eartime last night and now accept that he is a great addition to the whole setup (I DO still miss Dino though!) Oh I really hope we'll "walk this floor" again next year and welcome Leonard back again........here's hoping!
Great meeting you to! It took all my self control during Hallelujah to not turn around and tell them to STFU! But hey, they can't take away from the wonderful night though maybe Charlie Bird and Niall Stokes behind us would have been better

Thanks for letting me escape out for the encores BTW
WILD HORSES wouldn't have stopped you!!!

What an amazing, priceless performance! I am literally trembling with joy from watching that! Leonard's smiles - my oh my - utterly sublime! Thank you again & again & again for that BRILLIANT video!! And thank your batteries for not running out before it finished!
BTW, it was really wonderful seeing you & Marie in Dublin (sorry we didn't get there the 2nd night). Looking forward to seeing you both again (you will be in Paris, I think?)

OMG OMG OMG. I shrieked and I laughed and I laughed and I shrieked. This is the best one yet!
LC loved the crowd's boisterous response. (this audience certainly did not sound reticent as reported on the forum)
Thank you again Albert for an outstanding capture of another historical first performance of one of his new songs.

Have just returned to computer world. ( Although I did have Joey's ' Notes from the Road' on the mobile and couldn't resist the occasional (expensive!) peep at Leif's intruiging blog on it.) It's good to take a break from computers and, dare I say it, from the forum, at times, but since returning I have really enjoyed reading all the Kilmainham concert reports posted so far and find myself agreeing with most of what is said.
Of course we are privileged to be able to afford one concert, not to mention the multiples some of us here have clocked up - anyone who noticed the girl begging in the cold on Colbert Bridge must realise that. But for the moment all I want to say is : Leonard is wonderful, the band is wonderful, the whole LC concert experience is wonderful. He is a great old trooper and long may he continue to work his magic.
