Well done Pauleile! Official confirmation at last. ( Although the more people think it's 7 the better - less annoying latecomers then. )This basic information has been guarded like the 3rd. secret of Fatima until now. (Irish members will understand this reference) My email to pod resulted in someone who was on holidays saying he'd be back next Monday! FB rules ok - should have known.
Ridiculous that the starting time should be witheld from the local promoter and ticketsellers until now (presumably by AEG and/or LC management ) - people need to make travelling arrangements.
I presume LC will be on stage at 7:15 also on Saturday 15, sorry it's too obvious, just my first time.
So it will be ok to be in the queue at RHK at 18:00, don't like coming in late and disturbing anybody.
Though not Irish I well understand your reference, Ann!
Temps are low, but will buy thermals there if needed and pack woolly jumpers and be prepared for the worst.
Thank you all!

Good to know the time for definite.... and it'll mean the Dubs know they don't need to leave home until 7.30...
Don't laugh! Half the audience probably won't know the starting time since it's not on the ticket, ( look how long it took us to find out!) and if they assume 8 which is the most usual concert starting time in Ireland the place will be seething with activity for the first hour of the concert.
I hope the 7.15 start is announced (frequently) over the PA - can't remember if this was done in Lissadell?

It must be 7.15/19:15 for all 4 concerts, Gio, (They'd tell us if not....or would they?

) so 6 o'clock/18:00 should give you plenty of time - you certainly won't be the last in!
With gates open since half past 4 queues should not be too big a problem.
(Glad you know all about Fatima! Ireland and Italy have a lot in common...)

Jeez Ann... if the Dubs don't think it's starting 'til 8, it'll be getting on for 9 before they turn up

So I presume the concert will be finishing around 10.15 - 10.30?
Any suggestions for the best way to get back into city centre (stephen's green) afterwards?
Luas, bus, taxi, walk.... run?

I've read the curfew is 11 o'clock.
The last Luas tram to the city center leaves at about midnight.

Thanks Hartmut.
Shame those Luas lines don't intersect, could be an interesting walk from Abbey St to Stephens Green at midnight!

This was published in todays Irish Times, start and finish times plus directions. Really looking forward to tomorrow night, and I hope that everyone else who is going to the Dublin concerts has a wonderful time. The weather forecast for tomorrow is for cool weather, with a possibility of showers.

What is Kilmainham Jail like as a concert venue?

Hi there,
Going to see Leonard again for the 2nd time on Weds night, seen him in the 02 in Dublin last time, incredible concert, still get shivers down the spine thinking about it! Just wondering what is the Kilmainham Jail venue like as a venue? I have been looking at youtube clips from his last concert there, and I see a lot of people walking around during songs!( very disrespectful by the way!) hope it wont be like that on Weds night. Im in block a7. Cannot wait anyway, im bringing my girlfriend for the first time, so it s exciting for her to get her first experience of Leonard too!
