Aiken promotes most of the concerts in the north. it was Aiken who brought springsteen twice in a year to the odessey. so there is hope yet .

Hi fisherinbelfast, Thank you for your suggestion, Bringing an act over to play any venue depends on many factors such as venue touring schedule. I will however forward on your mail to our bookers in the hope that we can bring him back and play Belfast. Kind Regards,ClairAiken Promotions

Belfast would be a wonderful place for Leonard Cohen to play, also great for us fans, far better value for hotels, food, drink , taxis (you will not belive how cheap the taxi fares are) but above all the people of Belfast are the most welcoming and helpful in our fair land. There is so much to see and do, and if he was to play in December, we could all do our Christmas shopping make a great weekend of it...

Dublin will be confirmed any day now (or cancelled). I don't think it will be replaced by Belfast.

I'm sure it has nothing to do with Belfast itself - just that it might be too late to start the negotiation with new promoters from the beginning. -- All these are my thoughts only, including the comment that Belfast would be unlikely! Let's see what AEG Live and the tour management decide!

Maybe I am a real sceptic!? I really believe that the only thing we can believe is that every bit of information that we receive is unbelievable.
