TV?
Or 9 TV?
that is the question

0.913 seconds, standing on one leg and eating macaroni cheese. I win.

ps Jimmy over here in the Green and Pleasant Land 5 seconds is a LOSER compared to Joney's alleged 0.914. I must tell you how pleased I was when the Offical Timer revealed my winning figures. I smashed Joney by 0.001. How about that!

With your thrice mention of tvz, however, Jimmy, you'd need to be quick to keep Kush from heisting and running off with your gauntlet. A good thing that the Shakespeare-wannabe overtook you. The scuffle in the woods could've gotten ugly ;-) .

Ya mean doin' it blindfold doesn't count????

Speed is everything to you guys over the atlantical pond.... well, we win by other means...

I threw down the gauntlet... I can take the gauntlet back.... and... take it to any wood I want...

And remember we, over this side, have darker woods and more spooky forests than you guys... ya wouldn't want to be followin' us into any wood on a dark night....

Sorry... we win...

Speed speed speed....

Is that all you think of, or rate as important, over there...??? (There = Hy Brasil : Land beyond the western sea... looking west, out from Galway Bay... next parish Boston!!!)

Blindfold demonstrates other quintessential qualities: dainty dexterity, indigent imagination, fleetness of finger, compulsive creativity, actual artistry, posthumous poetry, nobilility of notions, careful consideration of composite conundrumming...

There's more to life, my 'merican martinets, than the momentum of motion....

"'merican"... what the blame are you talkin' 'bout Jimminy O'Connell? That Shakespeare Wannabe made up the time rules, not us ones 'cross the pond  . I was just complyin' with 'em. Don't make me a martinet, though  .

Joney ~ On the other hand... yore's is brilliant 8) !! Uncontested winner, in my book... 15 years well spent.

Martinet: "a strict disciplinarian, a person who stresses rigid adherence to the details of forms and methods" (Merriam/Webster's Collegiate Dictionary.... your bleddy dictionary!!!!!!

In this case a "strict" "rigid adherence" to speed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mickey_one is not a Shakespeare Wannabe, he the JP Morgan of poetic discourse!!!
make the quick buck, don't matter about other considerations.....

A plea to my 'Merican Martinets: mind the minstral ministrations of Morgan maintenace. You will only be led down the dungeons of deeper depravities and de dumbing down of divine discourse.

Jubilant Jimmy... still....

My friend, Mr Google, he say "JPMorgan is one of the world's leading investment banks. Our extensive client relationships, global scale, broad platform and extraordinary talent are among the many features that differentiate us from our investment banking peers. "

I wish to thank young Jimmy for his perceptive observation.

Empathy or provocation? If it's the latter, you will pay, Laura. My shoulder op. has now been moved from tomorrow to Monday thus increasing the whingeing moaning pathetic sympathy-seeking weedy-man ouches and owsthat will punctuate the Cohen conversation at the Barbican,as the surgeon kindly guaranteed me that the pain for 2 weeks afterwards will be worse ow than ow it ow is ow now (brown cow)

Definition and application accepted. Still doesn't mean that it's the SPEED we care about... it's the compliance. Coulda been slooooooooooooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwww.

Is having fun with the rules still okay? Do said "martinets" have fun? Mine didn't have a kitchen timer attached; but still had a blast, rules or not ;-) .

P.S. No need to be bitter 'bout my win  . I wasn't when I handed mine off to Joney :) .

mickey_one ~

I'm sure there are some hearing devices out there designed to screen out the painful sounds of spouses. Perhaps, you could bring some along, for all your friends to listen to the concert and conversation in peace.

Hearing aids can be expensive, but with your Morgan-level success and all... shouldn't be a problem :) .
