Nobody I know said Adam, Leo's baby, was the eldest.
That's for sure... I know it wasn't you. I didn't even notice the error  . Passed right over it; too busy lookin' at the kid  :D .
Somebody I know said he was the youngest with the hit "Cry, Ophelia," born in 1972.
To be sure... do know who that was :D !

Lizzy, I do believe your mentor has made her own screaming error.

What great news. Congratulations to Adam and Jessica.

So James Adams let the news out. He's an old Leonard Cohen journalist, he wrote some of the best articles about Ten New Songs, Dear Heather, and - we remember - was the guy who covered management's affair, and also recently was the one who openly asked GG Award's jury why they ignored Book of Longing.

I think this is all what we will get. Baby's name, height, or pictures are family's bussiness, not ours. Very nice news, and new beginning I guess (they do say that one generation is always skipped. If Adam was sometimes, as LC admitted, damaged by his father's career or break-up with Suzanne (unofficial mariage it was, ceremony was done without state/priests), I'm sure the grand-son will get too much love;-) As always by grandparents!

Oh, that's funny... well, to add to that, I'll share two PMs I wrote to Judith, which I can now delete and not bother to wait for an answer  :

Subject: ... or could they not resist
... the double-entendre of James Adams being James, Adams's Cohen... Lorca will produce her own Cohen, but this one [James] is Adams's.

Or is it cuz it flows easier and is unique?

Mystery solved. Looking forward to hearing Leonard's grandson's name :D  .

Made my morning, it did, this did... yes, it did  .

He *loves* LC — they all do over there; and, they're all smokin' . . . cigars (or eating valentine-cigar chox). You're right, Tom; James is one of the best; nature of the medium, errors will be made; others will be blamed. La vie. I've only seen about a million of them; but, none so awful as the CBC information. I blame CSIS :).

Glad to see you around Forumtown with so many good images blessing our bettered selves with such an eye banquet, too.

L8R. Ed.'s back to scream-team time. L!

Love, BoSoHappyICouldCreamMyJeans
p.s. I agree with Jason and you both; we'll have a veritable feast of Coheniana (after twenty years of heaven, I guess :))
p.p.s. Abso-right-o about keeping distance and respecting privacy; some things are simply not for sharing; and, The Globe knows that; this is a time for distance, circumspection, and caring (or, IOW, class, elegance, grace, and morning-glorious joy a.k.a. It Ain't About Me-Me-Meanderthals)

James Adams (journalist?) wrote:

Erratum: for "oldest" read "elder".
