I have just read that “So Long Marianne” is being released as a 6 part TV series starring Alex Wolff. I assume this is a different project from the movie referred to in this thread?
The series recently received good reviews in Variety
and The Hollywood Reporter, but it’s unclear if it has been sold yet for broadcast in the US.
Think that is the topic of this thread

Yes, one is a movie that is already out and the other one a tv show to be aired somewhere this year and has several episodes. As far a I understood same storyline but different actors etc.

I will happily watch both if I can. Even if they are not perfect. It will be fun to see what they get right and what they get wrong, and there is certain to be a treasure or two in them, especially if they are filmed on Hydra.

Maybe netflix would take interest.

For people in Canada, this six-part series will be available on Crave TV (a Canadian streaming service owned by Bell Media) -- Crave co-produced the series. It is listed on Crave TV as "Coming Soon". (I don't know if non-Canadians have access to Crave TV, and/or what streaming services may pick up the series in other countries.)

A stroke of luck for our Canadian friends.

I'm looking forward to this film. Other recent biopics (Elton, Queen, Elvis, Amy Winehouse) have been accompanied by hugely successful soundtrack albums. Are we going to see the same thing with this new film? I hope so. It would be good to see some of Leonard's earlier recordings relaunched on the world. It's about time!
