I dont understand why they choose Kings Garden. There is some big trees in there that could block the view

Found this photo from a concert in 2010. Looks like standing...

I have never yet been to a concert in Odense that wasn't standing but for Leonard they may make an exception.

From the photo, it looks like the same venue as 2010 (?), & I was there, & it was definitely a standing concert. If this is the case, no, there is no point to having a presale, as the cost is the same for all tickets, & unfortunately, there is no such thing as a reserved standing space. Thus, one would have to get there several hours before showtime to get anywhere near the stage. . .But it was a nice, novel experience & oddly enough (for an outdoor concert), the audience - at least in the area where I was standing - was very quiet & reverent, throughout the whole concert - you could hear a pin drop - even though I was miles from the stage; it was really a very sweet experience.

AEG confirmed now that it will not be seated - standing only.

I'd love to attend a concert of Leonard with standing as I'd do like I do for other artists and queue all day and get to the front. I love standing at the front for the encores and for me it would be amazing to be able to do that for an entire concert. I do however feel for those who can't stand for that long and do think there should be some seats. However that won't be the case here as I've just seen Jarkko's update. Very tempted by this venue now as the location looks beautiful.

Odense is a lovely town and the venue is very central (different from 2010 Rachel) so this is a good one for people who can stand through a long show and don't mind queueing all day. With more surgery looming in the New Year, I will have to give this one a miss.

A warning if you like to listen quietly to the music: Danish audiences like to have fun and a beer or five with their music. It's all usually very good natured and Odense is a polite town but that's not to say it won't get raucous.

I'm putting this concert on my maybe list and will see what else comes up. As a standing venue there is the advantage of being able to wait to buy a ticket and if it sells out before I decide then it wasn't meant to be!

EUROPE’S third-largest budget airline will start offering flights from Liverpool to Copenhagen from spring next year.

Scandinavian carrier Norwegian is to fly out of the city’s John Lennon Airport (JLA) for the first time in April, 2013, offering a three-times-a-week service to the Danish capital.

Starting on April 5, the Liverpool to Copenhagen service will depart JLA at 1.55pm, with one-way fares starting from £33.

Hmmm I priced Aer Lingus from Dublin and prices are €75 each way. Might get cheaper flights in January or by the time I decide!

Standing for some of these younger bands with their one hour and twenty minute setlists is one thing-- standing for a 3:45 Leonard show is quite another. Add the queueing, and I have to wonder if this will be a scheduled shorter show.

From what I remember, & I think my memory is correct, it was not shorter in 2010. It was the same length as other 2010 shows - at least 3 or 3.5 hrs.

And yes, Odense is a really beautiful, sweet little town. I loved it.
