Good point ,Glynn. But this is not the first attack on Liz and i don't suppose it will be the last. I thought we all came to this forum to exchange views, we all having a common bond in Leonard. No one or group of individuals have the right to censure posts here. People can always ignore, but people should not be setting up pressure groups to harrass contributers. The ultimate sanction on this board is Jarkko. EVERYONE who has an intrest in Leonard should be welcome here and although we may differ in opinions and this is healthy debate, to try and censure someone for their intrest is petty and is the politics of the playground. No folks i did not over react, i'm sick and tired of the crowd trying to crucify anyone who is outspoken or overposts. If people did not post here the board would fall. You cannot have it both ways. Please stop the personal attacks on individuals and allow the freedom of expression i think Leonard himself conveys.

I am one of the 'catty' people from the chatroom. What we asked of Lizzytysh was how she felt about smothering this forum. She did not reply. Georges, if this continues, you blanket posters will just be talking to each other, and I think that would be sad, as well as quite dull for the few who remain. You must notice that conversation is far from active and diverse, in this present climate.

Anne this is positively healthy compared to what happened previously on the Various Positions Board. For a while it became the Lizzytysh and Georges show. No one else bothered to contribute. they got sick of Lizzy telling people what they really meant, and faithful hound Georges supporting her blindly. Their move here was forced by the lack of activity the balnket posting caused. Guys, get MSN Messenger installed for God's sake, spare the rest of us. Too many have left already.

p.s. Georges, you are getting as bad as your mentor in not understanding what people are saying. Are you retarded? No one has suggested at any point censuring what is written. I think i am the only one who gets calls to be censured, not least by you. I did not seek to censure your homophobia for example. It is simply a desire for balance. If we ignored every thread Lizzy posts on we may as well leave the board. You cannot ignore one persons posts on a thread without often losing the plot altogether. Lizzy is acting in a deeply selfish way. Most Cohen fans abhour conflict and so will not comment on this. I followed what you two did to VP whilst thinking you were the only people keeping it going. You destroy that which you love. Jarkko had the best board on the web prior to the VP refugees coming over. I struggle to understand how anyone can have more to say than Jarkko on here. Keep it down. One post per day is more than enough for anyone, even Leonard.

It is the same thing for the forum. The point is not to cease to using it, but to cease the over-using (that kind of compulsion which is nocive for everybody). Gaia, can you use your own words or are you too weak to find your own arguments whitout quotations from others ? And Georges, can you please re-read the entiere thread for I don't think that you understand anything of what we are saying. As Liz, you understand only yourself, centred on your own selfish mind. No "Liz bodyguards" has brought a point that awe a little attention or value. We are not on a wrestling arena and there is not suppose to have two team. I think that no gathering can be done by a topic like that. Fanatism is a bad thing and it smell a little bit like a football game. Really strange things happens here since the new forum war launched. I am often confused. I don't catch many things. But anyway, I agree with Kush and Glyn.
Why some people from the old board dissapeared?
Also, about VP board. I was there once. It was enough for me. We were here before and we will be here in the future. The fashions come and go.

It's ironic that this may be the ONLY topic on which La Liz has not commented. And you KNOW she has to be reading it, but then not really synthesizing it because she seems to not have a very developed thought process. Like my auntie used to say - she's a catfish: all mouth, no brain.

If nothing else, perhaps her absence of posts on this topic is a move in the right direction and maybe lowering her overall daily "quota."
