Alan, is there monetary compensation that goes along with this (ala Nobel Prize)? Remember, Sir Maarten will in the near future be embarking on a journey to that mecca of slot machines. A few dubloons in his pocket could come in handy.

1. Re the Order Of Leonard being "made up,"
I would contend that all awards are made up.

2. Re monetary compensation,
Oops. I had forgotten about this in Maarten's case. Maarten, the award carries with it a purse equal to 50% of Heck Of A Guy annual profits. If current conditions prevail through January 1, 2011, you should anticipate your share of the losses at approximately $700. I accept Paypal and credit cards but no checks without proper identification.

3. Because of the multiple emails received recommending candidates and asking about criteria for the Order Of Leonard, I've posted information at Order Of Leonard Criteria - http://1heckofaguy.com/2010/11/29/the-o ... -criteria/

My sincere apologies . When i suggested Jarkko should be given the supreme award i hadnt realised the awards are restricted to mere mortals

the 4th award has now been announced and it is a worthy and well considered choice

Congratulation from me also Maarten and thank you for the lanyards you made for the Las Vegas Concerts. It was nice to meet you there and enjoy a wonderful two nights of Leonard and the Band. It really helped to have them to identify the other members of the Forum.
