There is still a hole in the schedule between Lisboa and Caen. If I was gambler, what I'm not, I would bet a few dollars on Valencia on Sept 12th or 13th to replace the cancelled one of last year. I know the Man...

I got my flights on http://www.Aerlingus.com Direct from Dublin to Lisbon. Departs 0700 Friday 10th Sept for about €60 one way. Similar price for return flight on Sat. or €120 for a flight on sunday. At least those were the prices on their website this morning. Hope this helps.

Trying to recover from Lissadell withdrawal symptoms, and looking at Lisboa....! I see people reporting front row tickets. Does that mean that the VIP area is open to us ordinary mortals in the Forum ? I thought VIP meant seating reserved for VIP s, whoever they are - many of whom would have no knowledge of or interest in Leonard Cohen. Tempting, anyway.....

Yes, the Plateia VIP is open to everyone. And remember, the only proper way to react to temptation is to yield to it .

Quite possibly will not actually swing all the permutations to allow me to go (will probably be in France at the time) but a certain madness took hold and I have booked VIP row tickets for Lisbon anyway!!!
