jeanne,
No need to change your location, we experience that reaction no matter where we live. Welcome to the forum. Hope to meet you in Hydra.
Best regards,

Cheer up, Lizzy. By June 2011, Greece should be out of the euro, a more independent nation again, with everything much cheaper ... so you will be able to stay longer!

Thanks, Henning!! that video is a nostalgic treat. I was at Dousko's in April--they were still singing but it was pretty darn lonely without all of you..

I have already decided that I'll visit Hydra at some point, I'm too much of a fan not to. I'd really like to attend this.
Last week a man from Etheopia rang my doorbell and asked if I wanted to buy some books from him to finance his studies. He had amongst other things a book about all the Greek Isles, which I ended up buying. The other day I read the only chapter that interested me: Hydra.
I'd love to be a part of this.
Tell you what, I shall bring my bongos if someone else brings a guitar and we'll have a big jam on Lover Lover Lover!

I suggest taking a look at the other chapters, too.
You'd be surprised to see how interesting Greece is and how Hydra is neither the only or the greatest beauty there is here.

Oh, the world abounds with beauty everywhere, and certainly in Greece.
Surely you understand why my focus is on Hydra?

Also, there are plenty of my countrymen who go to Kos and Crete and so on and wreak havoc. No one ever mentions Hydra, which is a good sign, I think.
