I think they are referring to "seems so long ago Nancy" wich is on one of Leonards first albums "songs from a room". I t is truly a great song.

But for me I really love to hear "The ballad for the absent mare"and I think that "the guests" would be amazing whith the Webb sisters singing the chorus.

That's right, it's Seems So Long Ago, Nancy. I've seen it referred to as just Nancy quite often and on Live Songs it is listed that way. I have a real soft spot for this song and remember when Leonard sang it at the very first of his concerts I ever attended (in fact, it was the concert form the version on Live Songs). I remember it as being such a moving moment and I relive it every time I play that album. Plus Live at the Isle of Wight has strengthened my love for it too.

Why don't I have any hopes of it being included? I think it is because Leonard hasn't played it live for so long (since the late seventies, I think). I think it must be a very painful memory for him so I'm not sure he would want to sing it any more.

Well, the top three requested songs at the moment are:

"Avalanche" and "Hey, That's No Way To Say Goodbye"
which are tied for first place
and
"One Of Us Cannot Be Wrong"
is in third place

It would seem from Arlene's set list that there is some chance they will actually be sung

I think that there would have to be a lot of medical staff on standby if Leonard sang that! Think of all the fainting women!

Well ladies,

If "Light As The Breeze" was to be included then we just have to add "Be For Real"

This would certainly change the vibes in the audience and therefore justify Lisa's suggestion of attending medical staff and I would have to include myself in that especially if he sang "Light As The Breeze" OMG

I'd like to add Always and Take This Longing to the 2 previous ones !
