According to Google's mileage chart Warsaw is 4159 km from Dubai....close enough to Jarkko's 4166 for me! It would make sense too as the whole crew would be in Russia and Warsaw is definitely a workable distance!

The best news from Jarkko is that our patience will finally pay off and we should be hearing something this week!

As far as I know the band is not performing in Warsaw on March 21.

And how many kms might this unnamed city be from Moscow? Or am I pushing my luck...

Anybody have a geometry set? We need to find someone with a map of the world and a compass who can trace a giant circle around Dubai using the distance from Dubai to Warsaw as the radius.

Any volunteers? Actually, it's probably possible to do the same thing electronically .... but I wouldn't have a clue where to start!

OK, I give up guessing. I should practice my patience but my hopes flared for a moment as Warsaw is just this side of accessible for me... I hoped for Ljubljana but it doesn't really seem probable anymore. *sighs*

Mary...you may be onto something. Jarkko always chooses his words so carefully. Maybe they will be in a suburb of Warsaw, not really IN Warsaw? Or maybe Leonard will do a private concert for me!

Wendy...this is frustrating. I tried doing the circle with my finger and keeping the distance equal but I come up with either someplace in inner India, or Chad....somehow I doubt either area. The kms aren't enough to make Helsinki or South Africa, and too many for Dublin or Israel or St Petersburg. Oh...I give up

That was my first question to Emily when she returned home from school. She asked what I wanted it for and then she saw the computer on and said "Oh don't even tell me" Unfortunately she didn't have one and I am no further ahead with ideas yet ... Oh Jarkko we have been patient for a long time now, but it is fun.

We don't have confirmation of any location yet from AEG, they are checking alternative venues to replace Dubai.
