And is buying those tickets in the presale?
Actually

The show will almost certainly NOT be GA. £75 was a "standard" price for most of the UK shows last year. The Royal Albert Hall tickets were quite a bit more expensive and there may have been some cheaper tickets at the O2 and some of the other arena shows. However, with only 1-2 shows (or whatever) I imagine they will be reasonably confident of selling all the seats at £75.

Wendy
So everybody is paying the same no matter where he's sitting? Wow, so you'll have to be even faster...
As nothing else has been mentioned about a presale, and assuming that all of the tickets do go on sale at 9am on Friday, what is the best strategy for getting some seats close to the stage? Just be really quick?

I have a sad feeling I'm going to get shafted by Ticketmaster whatever I do :(

"General Admission" meaning unreserved seating or standing.

Based on my experience last year and what seems to be happening in North America at the moment, I would say the best thing is NOT to be really quick. In fact you're better ignoring on sale day altogether. Best to hold your nerve and check ticket availability 2-3 times every day until the "good" seats become available. Leonard and his management may not be taking part in any underhand practices so far as ticket sales are concerned but you can bet your life that won't stop others.

Of course I could never risk not having a ticket for the show so I'll be there on Friday, accepting whatever disappointing offering Ticketmaster has for me ....

Ticket prices are now showing as £55 - £75 so they are obviously working on the listing.

I don't think I could risk that either so I'll prob end up doing the same. Will keep trying for better ones though if they aren't that good as I'm sure it wont be too difficult to get rid of the first batch (for face value of course) if LC is only doing one or two UK dates.

For the bit that people have been assuming means presale or something Ticketmaster now says:

Start: Mon 23/03/09, 14:00
End: Fri 27/03/09, 08:00

Was the time always 14:00 on Monday? I thought it was earlier when i looked this morning. Wonder if anything will happen in 20 mins...

Nothing useful to add except to say that t has changed and it does not explicitly say pre-sale though that is what it must be. If it is not for us (and this would be a very tight timescale) than perhaps there are Liverpool Echo Arena subscribers (though I could not find that either!). It would be too good a chance to miss seeing Leonard in the town of my birth .. we can celebrate Liverpool winning the Premiership and the Champions' League then too :-)

Nothing has happened.

Does anyone know if Ticketmaster has an non-automated customer service number? I would ring to see if I can find out what the Mon 14:00 time is about, but an automated system for ticket booking is all I can find...

See Tickets will also be selling the Liverpool tickets from Friday, if anyone wants to use an alternative to Ticketmaster:
