Thank you for the link.
I have the 75-minute-concert, all the 12 songs, on my computer and my I-Pod now. WONDERFUL!

It's easy to download. Just to the right of the title you find "PODCAST". Click on that. Then you come to a new site and there below "Download latest episode" you click on "Download MP3/4". That's all. ENJOY!

@Tinderella:
I would really love to be able to help you. Unfortunately, I am hopeless with computers and stuff like that. So it was kind of a surprise to me that I was able to download this without any help...And in fact, I only bought my first ever I-Pod TODAY. What a coincidence, and it was the first thing I downloaded to my I-Pod.
Yes, I have a Mac and I-Tunes, but I am pretty sure that it also works with Windows. I hope that there is someone else more gifted than me to help you download the concert!

Titles played:

-Dance me to the end of love
-The Future
-Chelsea Hotel No.2
-Tower of Song
-Suzanne
-The Partisan
-Hallelujah
-A thousand kisses deep
-Take this waltz
-So long, Marianne
-First we take Manhattan
-Democracy

Thank you, Chris. And I was looking for a COMPLICATED solution! Now I'm really feeling dumb.

Listening to the NPR put the concert on a whole different level. Every inflection, every nuance in phrasing becomes so pure without the 'distraction' ( sorry, I know distraction is not the right word  , but couldn't come up with anything else) of watching this concert. One gets an even better appreciation of this show. This broadcast did bring tears to my eyes.

Thank you Chris, for helping a computer illiterate download this podcast - even though I don't have and ipod  .

Best regards,
Mary

(P.S. Please don't chop off my head, but listening to the broadcast, I missed Julie and Perla as backup vocalists on 'Take This Waltz'.)

If the download is an MP3, it'll play on any portable player, not just an ipod, so worry not. Personally I'm in the office and about to start work (since I'm in Australia) and won't be able to download the concert until tomorrow (since I'm lucky enough to be going to see Jackson Browne tonight), but I'm looking forward to it and am very grateful to NPR for making it available.

You don't need itunes to play it, just click where it says podcast on the top right of the page and then on the page that appears click on 'Download Latest Episode'. This will download the file to your PC as an .mp3 and you will then be able to play it with either realplayer, windows media player, quick time - one of which you MUST already have on your PC.

Dan

I'd be pretty surprised if they did, but man do I hope so. This is wonderful.

And if you want to do what I've just done and cut the whole podcast into individual songs Mp3cutter (http://home.hccnet.nl/p.luijer/) does the job well and is free. Took me about 20 minutes and is very straightforward...

Anyone any idea whether there's a version of MP3 cutter or something similar for the Mac?
