A word of advice.

I would organise your vine geographically on the lines of say........

1. UK
3. Ireland
2. rest of Europe
3. America
4. Australia..etc..etc....otherwise if the the dvd was left to travel backwards and forwards between regions it could take years to reach the last person on the vine

....for instance a package can take up to a month to travel from the UK to Ireland and back again...so imagine two Irish people on the vine with an UK based person between them...those three drops could possibly take 8 weeks or more just to travel between them

I don't think of it as my vine though, and I don't know the best way to start organising it. Does anyone have experience of such things, and can take over the organisation of it? An early copy from me direct to the first volunteer!

As you are in the UK (I think?) perhaps you (we) should organise the list with all the UK names first, as liverpoolken suggests? I'd volunteer to start it off but I don't want to be accused of queue jumping!

I suggest we start with the UK, then on to France via the Channel Islands. This is more or less the order we popped up in anyway. I'll confirm the order when I know for sure where Actaion is based. How does that sound to you? As long as the vine stays in Europe, we shouldn't get too many postal delays but I think we should close the list fairly early so that it doesn't get too unwieldy.

I confirm I am in zagreb, Croatia .. happy to be rationalised in this way .. it should not take too long for me to send/get things from /to either Poland or Germany. I am assuming I can copy dvds .. never tried .. only cds .. but I would work on the principle that if I can't then I can probably find someone who can!

hello, could i join the vine still ,
i am from belgium, and have learned better now, how to make a copy of the discs, since the bruges-amsterdam-copenhagen vine, that i slowed down a little , because of pc-troubles.
