I know...thankfully I've been saving to hear Leonard live for the last 20 years - it's my emergency "rainy day/leonard cohen concert fund" ;-)

Your fund may be well named - rain in Ireland in June, what's the likelihood? As long as it's not your 'running away' money, Claire :)

Cant believe Claire would put her studies before a Lennie gig!! Whats happening to students these days lol Im also in my final year and exam or no exam, I will be at Kilmainham.I went to see Lennie in Toronto in May 2006 at the Indigo store and skipped an exam for that,a sick note and a summer repeat was what the doctor ordered.Just show your heart to the doctor.Doctors will always write a prescripition if Lennies name is mentioned in it.Lol

Maybe I caused the confusion. 'Running away' money usually means a secret fund held by married women so that they can scarper at a moment's notice. Maybe students also use this term, but to mean what?

Hhmm... maybe, not one I've heard of though! I took 'running away' for what it you intended it to mean, Looking back over this post though, I think the first post mentioned some conflict between gig and final exams...that might explain the mix up...! It's just that the thought of me passing up a Leonard gig for anything remotely scholarly is so amusing to me

It's still on the main Ticketmaster page but the page itself isn't loading.

How odd... but still Kilmainhim, my sources were right :P

As of 7.27pm real time/8.27pm Thread time/10.27pm Board Index time (this'd be a great place to get an alibi!), it's gone from the main page.............unless he's decided to call it the PGA tour :D

Someone here's going to go hungry if I spend 115euro on a ticket!
When it was heralded in The Ticket a few weeks ago, 12000 capacity was mentioned.

My apologies Claire, it was indeed 'Dance me to the end' who was concerned over exam issues,a good student would have done proper research first which speaks volumes about my college work lol..you do not have to visit the doctor, instead u can go straight to the hospital in kilmainham.

€115 will put off more than fair-weather fans (unless I'm not as much of a fan as I think I am). I wonder what 'only' €85 will get you?

Let me put it like this guys, any day is basicaly fine lol except the 17th because that's the day before my last Leaving Cert exam and although I would of course go to Leonard, it's the old parents who might have a problem with it. Leaving Cert eh? Who needs it >_>
