the sun to kiss your face

That's it: I've spent some time in the Cathedral, lighting candles and performing forgotten acts like genuflections, crossing myself after dipping my fingers in a font of Holy Water. I dusted down my set of rosary beads; felt them one by one for the first time in decades.
A belated attempt to reach the other side..... I guess it's easier to compose a message on a hardwood bench.
