I have been wondering about this too! Of course, my BluRay has not ARRIVED yet which distresses me greatly.

Hopefully it will be in my mailbox today...
I can't think of a connection with Leonard's work and the fortune teller fish. Maybe it has something to do with the title/theme of the new album? A little hint of something? A cool picture of one (Joey Carenza style

) would actually make a great album cover...

Go my cd/dvd from Amazon uk yesterday, excellent! Great to see bird on the wire and Suzanne from Glasgow and Manchester, as I was at these two concerts. Would have liked to see the future again, with the Webb sisters on acrobatics. Of the five concerts I attended, my favourite song was famous blue raincoat at Madison Square garden on October 23 2009.

Hi Almarks,
I was thinking the same thing. The Webb's acrobatic turn was a key moment in the concerts. I would have preferred this to "Suzanne", where Leonard slightly fluffed the lyrics.
All good things, John E

Super new album all round. Leonard's songs have always been great, poetry with great music thrown in. But when you add in the talents of Javier's incredible guitar playing, Dino's interpretations of what's needed & the rest of the crew throwing in their pieces, it's the cherry on a delivious cake. It's just a super album.
And it's great to finally have Famous Blue Raincoat & Chelsea Hotel Live!!
For me, Lover Lover Lover is proabably the high point but I honestly thought that the version he played in Colmar in August 2009 was the best ever version. Check the YouTube link

Also, I had kind of hoped that Partisan would have been recorded before a French audience and really feel their response, but you can't get everything.
Well done Leonard & the rest of the crew, great album!!
The DVD's interesting too but an interview with the great man would have been really appreciated.

Great album!!!
I was really hoping he would put "feels so good" on this album. He performed it in Las Vegas. It may be the best song ever....

Indeed! Actually I took it for granted that would be part of the Backstage Sketch, which I really enjoyed by the way. Still, I find it a bit disappointing that LC seems the one with a great lack of screentime here. Apart from its being a reflection of Leonard's modesty onstage, it is a mistery to me why all the band and singers get their say but LC does not.

I have just arrived home from work after collecting my copy from the local JB HI-FI store and there is no 'fish' contained within.
Maybe they think Australia, Queensland has too many fish as it is or I don't need to have my fortune told.

I haven't had time to play it yet and will do later on tonight but I am perplexed about not having a fish like everyone else.

Hi,
Don't worry - you're not alone. I got my copy at the weekend and there was no fish. I'm in Singapore.
