If I had anything more exciting to do then I'd be doing it .Can only speak for myself of course
You obviously have never tasted MFL's rhubarb tart . 8)It is rather tasty .
Thank you lonndubh, I love to bake and everyone can call to my house on the way to the flatlakes festival for tea and tart, another great way to waste time and wander right off the Point, sorry euge ;-) . I'm sure if there is a date set that doesn't clash with ABBA we will get back to the point.

Try that to waste time also.

On the tart/pie thing can you help me out with this lonndubh, would like to try this pie....

Sing a song of sixpence a pocket full of rye,
Four and twenty blackbirds baked in a pie.

Red Poppy I do hope your going to the festival as I think you could win 7 million Euros, Tell the best Lie competition... ;-)

"rhubarb tarts and other irrelevant culinary exotica..."

I won't hear a word said against the rhubarb tart - the staple diet of many a man (and woman of course)

counting crows have just been confirmed for the O2 (point) on 20th dec and kings of leon are heavily rumoured to be playing before that as well. It is still a possiblitiy for Leonard, probably just trying to make sure the place is ready before it is confirmed.

Confetti,
I'm not talking about the band Lynard Skynyrd. I'm talking about the Arizona singer Leonard Skynard - don't tell me you don't know his wonderful body of work - great albums - Desert Song; Sands of Time; Run the Flag up the Flagstaff!!!!
Well worth a listen

isn't he the teacher that the band named themselves after or is there another one?

I don't know him, if you would be so kind as to provide a link, sir.

Links.
Good heavens what will people want next?
Photographs, lyrics, downloads.
There's a interesting article on him in the Flagstaff Gazette (Nov 2001 - Issue 3)
and a profile and interview in Lawnmowing News (Feb 2002) but only the US edition. ;-)

Hi all
I haven't been on line in a while. I'm devastated with Jarkko's post that December 1st is off the agenda. Has anyone heard on what the progress is with O2 venue? :(

..only if the venue is not ready by then!! We'll have to wait & see!

So it´s the Point on dec 1 or nothing. Strange the way these agreements with venues are met, Dublin and Belfast are brimming with suitable venues for LC. Or so I would have thought.
