Am I being defeatist when I say it is beginning to look more and more like Leonard might be passing us by?

I am continuing to hope until no hope is left.

Evie B -
maybe the UK could be the World Tour 2011? Scotland, Ireland, England and Wales ... Festivals everywhere and our open hearts ...
I agree that we are all singing "please don't pass me by"; I'm saving for the Tour, plus the new cd (and ??dvd??) and t-shirts and and and .........
please don't pass us by ...

John Etherington wrote:I have to defend the Royal Festival Hall...it's much, much better than the Royal Albert Hall for numerous reasons...the sound is great (especially since the recent modernisation), there's comfortable tiered seating, the bars are far more accessible and easy to arrange meetings, it's in a great environment on the river with loads of restaurants and Premier Inn a short walk away. It's easy to get to from directions, and most importantly they HANDLE THEIR OWN TICKETING and do it well and fairly (no Ticketmaster nightmares involved). Also, twenty four Brian Wilson concerts there have positively filled the place with good vibrations!

All good things, John E
The Festival Hall 's acoustics are tops. And for those without their own transport, it rests between Waterloo and Charing Cross stations. A less than 10 minute walk.
Somewhat better than driving to wet Weybridge and hours to exit the car park, let alone the town

Pleeeese come to UK again Leonard. Trouble is - the more you get - the more you want.

Now that we in Ireland have received good news we will put some gentle pressure on the organisers to have a concert or two in the UK. A few days in London sounds good. We will keep our fingers crossed!

Just in case Leonard's management is wondering how to fill the vacant slot on August 16th I have a brilliant proposal. It is pure coincidence that I will be a mere 10 minute train ride from the location on that date! A few years ago there was a concert in front of the Royal Crescent in Bath called "The Three Tenors on the Lawn". All the talk about Sligo has got me thinking about "Leonard on the Lawn". :? I will offer Leonard my mother's famous apple pie as a special incentive! I will even ask her to modify the recipe by dipping the apples in honey. :D

My lawn - humble though it is - is available to Leonard any time he cares to call.
