I liked the phrase 'sweet mail' though - I'm going to steel it.

Hello Sweet Cate and Fragrant Violette,

Just dropping by to say hi... sneaking by actually, I'm supposed to be working of course.

... I can't help but wonder: What did we do to un-deserve Le Grand Lion??? And Greg? And Jack? At least Mat still drops by occasionally.

C'mon ladeeez, post a pome. Please.

XO

Post a pom? :? :shock:

Okay I know who a pom is; I even know which one from your list is a pom (I think) but I’m not sure what you want us to do with him –
post? How do we post him? (I’m sorry I’m not up on my s&m lingo) also do you think it's fair for us to 'post' only one, or did you simply mean one at a time?

being the clever one that I am I of course went to the dictionary to look this up
some of the more likely defn.

military post, post
military installation at which a body of troops is stationed;

post
an upright consisting of a piece of timber or metal fixed firmly in an upright position;

post, station
the position where someone (as a guard or sentry) stands or is assigned to stand

post

ride Western style and bob up and down in the saddle in in rhythm with a horse's trotting gait

(violet - what were you saying about not posting late?)

edited to remove e's - really my post makes no sense at all - so I'll just make this note very small and perhaps no-one will notice

Why Cate,

I didn't doubt for a minute you'd understand what kind of post I was referring to. :roll:

Your hairs a little longer now (I think) and really suits you - a bit sassy.

NEW CONTEST -- no, not really a contest... but, what I think would be nice is a comprehensive collection of sayings we would either write or choose to have on our gravestones. I think this is actually a wonderful way for us to really get to know each other better. I'll start:

"IT'S ALL BEEN A TERRIBLE MISUNDERSTANDING...

Sweet Violet buried here the [blank ]day of [blank], [blank blank blankety blank]"

RETURNED UNOPENED :)

Dear God,

Sorry, but we're sending this back to you.. see what you can do, as we're at a total loss down here..

.. [only this would probably imply that somebody peeked]..

One Devil of a Beautiful Loser (Inside)
do you remeber the kind of computers and ever shirts with circle and Intel inside written in the circle?
what about putting
One Devil of a Beautiful Loser Inside
in such a way on the shirt?
I'd love to wear it
