Anjani is performing in Copenhagen tonight and rumour has it that leonard is travelling with her. Do you think there's a remote chance that he will be joining her on stage?

these are the places that anjani visited before copenhagen, and I just wanted to know if anyone knows if leonard showed up to any of these performances?

July 11 Paris, France - New Morning
July 15 Rotterdam, Holland - North Sea Jazz Festival
July 17 Gent, Belgium - Blue Note Jazz Festival

Good, I'm glad, and my guess ~~ guess ~~ would be that if he's accompanying her, the chances would be that he would come onstage at some point; maybe like he did recently, for one song at the very end. Rumours can be so wicked, though. It doesn't sound like you're getting your hopes up, but would love it if he shows. Is it a small venue?

From what I can understand of this (I don't speak french) leonard did take the stage with anjani in paris a few days ago.

Cette petite et sombre salle de spectacle accueille environ 200 personnes venues écouter Anjani. Sur scène, quatre musiciens l’accompagnent. Fin du spectacle. Rappel. Anjani revient seule, puis elle est rejointe par ses musiciens et fait installer un micro supplémentaire. Leonard apparaît et chante en duo avec sa belle ‘‘Never got to love you’’.

Après le concert, Anjani revient dans la salle, bientôt suivie de Leonard. Pendant plus d’une demi-heure, ils vont nous parler, dédicacer livres, affiches, photos… et se prêter au jeu des photographes amateurs.

I can't translate that, but according to another report elsewhere, yes, he did... during Anjani's encore period... her very last song. Much to the surprize of the audience, by the sounds of it .

The answer is - no. A friend of mine luckily has been there - she loved Anjani's performance but she was only with her musicians. Leonard was not present or at least he didn't show up.

Don't mean to be a "wet blanket" but Jarkko posted elsewhere that Leonard's only appearance with Anjani on this tour was in Paris. Think he is currently (hopefully) making progress with his next album on this side of the world.

Anjani and her great band give a wonderful show, however, so don't worry about Leonard not being there.

Leonard was not present in Ghent, but Adam as a member of Anjani's band was present.
By the way she sings lovely

My understanding is that the "Adam Cohen" who has joined Anjani's band for the tour is not the Adam Cohen who is Leonard's son and who has a singing career of his own... just a very feaky-to-say-the-least coincidence . If Adam's son did happen to join her in Ghent, then the situation has arrived at a point where we're going to need to begin asking, "Will the real Adam Cohen please stand up," at which point either of them will, anyway... .
