Thank you, Jarkko and Eija, and also for being here with all that you do to keep this site functioning.
I listen each year to LC’s version of Silent Night.

At this time of the year, I have always enjoyed seeing your photos and ice sculpture creations from your part of the world. Firstly, for their beauty and secondly because they cool me down from a hot, humid summer here in Queensland, Australia.

And speaking of Australia, I thought I would give you all a Seasonal Greeting with a definite Aussie theme. There are not too many images more iconic and unique than a Koala on a branch in his home in a eucalyptus gum tree. Koalas eat mostly gum leaves in the few hours when they’re not sleeping on a high tree branch.
