Question regarding an old Hydra article on the internet

Apologies if this is the wrong place for this question (new member and all that...) but I need some help if possible!!

Many years ago (I think at least 12+) I read a lovely article on a individual who had visited Hydra. I've since searched high and low for it but to no avail, I'm hoping someone may remember it. Now here's the hard bit!! There was just one paragraph at the end of the article that I can partially remember.

The writer spoke of some bistro or cafe tables that had fallen into the sea by the portside and they wrote how the sun reflected off them. I think they were alluding to the fact that that these tables could have come from Katsikas grocery store/cafe and the memories that they would hold.

The article and in particular that sentence has really stuck with me for years, I'd love to be able to read it again, hopefully one of you lovely people will recall it.

I'm sorry if you got excited seeing that someone responded to you, only to be disappointed to find that I'm no help, at all. I hope that someone here *can* be helpful to you and will respond. The article sounds very charming.

My only suggestion is that you look through the Leonard Cohen Files at leonardcohenfiles.com and see if there's anything there that could lead you to this article (if it's not there). You can do the same here. There's such a wealth of information there (and here) that it at least is a possibility. I think you might be able to search using key words, as well. Have you tried doing that using Google and other search engines online, yet? Maybe you have and coming here was your last resort.

If you are able to locate it, I hope you'll share it with us. I can understand why it sticks in your mind. In any case, welcome to the Forum!

Thanks Lizzie, and will try those sites. I’ve spent hours with my google “port side”, “table”, “bistro”, “reflect” searches to no avail. I won’t give up though!!!!!
