I am pretty sure that this is the same film as "Ladies and Gentlemen, Mr. Leonard Cohen" (possibly edited/shortened for the American broadcast). The American website says that it was made by the National Film Board of Canada and that it was directed and produced by Donald Brittain, and that would match. I am not aware of any other National Film Board documentaries about Leonard from that time.

Hi Lisa

Yes, I was aware of the same credentials of this compared to "Ladies and Gentlemen... Mr. Leonard Cohen", but the running time is different so I was wondering whether they used other original film footage than the stuff used in the documentary from 1965...

The screenshot atop https://americanarchive.org/catalog/cpb ... f18sb3xs11 can be found in "Ladies and gentlemen..." at 21mins 24secs into the film on their website https://www.nfb.ca/film/ladies_and_gent ... ard_cohen/

Ah well, it's not that important but I got curious... :-)
