Hi,
"The Gypsy's Wife" fits the bill for me. If a woman were to cover the song with "wife" changed to "husband,"
it would be somewhat incongruous if all the other elements were to remain in place. The vibration (brooding
and ominous) of the song I recognize as more common to male response to infidelity.
(A completely gender neutral song is "Hey, That's No Way To Say Goodbye.")
