There is a line in one of Leonard’s poems that is either ‘and I never went fishing with Don’ or ‘and I never did go fishing with Don’. If someone knows the poem’s title and where it appears, the information would be greatly appreciated.

No, I never got an answer to my inquiry. I got the line I posted from ‘the Don’ whom Leonard mentions in the poem. He told me that it is from a poem for sure because, once upon the time, he was shown this poem and he read it himself—but he couldn’t remember the poem title or where it is coming from.
So, the search continues …
