Leonard Cohen has one of the most soothing voices ever

I think the best thing about being a straight woman is listening to Leonard Cohen.

Was Oscar Wilde foretelling Leonard Cohen when he wrote:

"Those whom the Gods love grow young"

A great line that strikes me as perfectly applicable.

:D
Alexis
"Who, being loved, is poor?"
(Oscar Wilde)
"That love is all there is" (Emily Dickinson)
"A miracle, just take a look around: The inescapable earth" (Wislawa Szymborska)

younger audience, yup.
Based solely on his songs I can only assume Leonard Cohen has a huge bird.

Helen, thank you for posting all the interesting tweets - I enjoy reading them.

But let me assure you, one does not have to be young to be turned on by Leonard Cohen. I know this from direct experience & from the experience of many friends who are my "contemporaries". And based on some posts I have seen, as well as what friends have told me, one does not even have to be a heterosexual woman or a gay man, to be turned on by Leonard Cohen. The Man's Magic apparently crosses all possible borders. It's entirely possible that one doesn't even have to be human to be turned on by Leonard Cohen. . .

It wasn't the being-turned-on by LC part that made me say "young audience," it was the profile pic (which you, of course didn't see) and the, um, frankness of expression. And for what it's worth, the "bird" tweet came from a young male. I took it as a sort of thumbs-up to another member of the fraternity.

Mandatory disclaimer: The following tweet does not reflect the opinion of anyone but the tweeter, who shall be anonymous here and I think I'm doing him a favor. But still. Had to include it here.

Leonard Cohen tiene una de esas voces que te pueden decir lo que sea, pero te provocan una erección.

Surely we've all figured this one out (and made appropriate adjustments to the suitcase packing list).

Yup, gotta remember to pack that extra blouse to replace the torn one.
