The simple grandeur of Hydra

Post by Dem »

Sophia Morres (I've mentioned her in previous posts)
has written an article about Hydra for the "Saronic Magazine"
titled "The simple grandeur of Hydra"

I am posting here one of the accompanying photographs.

The last issue of "Saronic Magazine" has a special feature
on Hydra and you can browse its pages here:

I know it's all Greek to you but the beauty of Hydra speaks in all languages :-)

I believe I had my photo taken from the shore, with me on that first little spit of land just before the next larger before the mountainous piece.

Beautiful photo, Dem!

The island in the background is Dokos. Supposedly it looks like a whale, but to me it has always been a beautiful lady reclining on her side.
