osmachar wrote:I don't actually think the presale offers you better tix - the last time i got better ones about 3 weeks after the sale has started. I think they just get released at different times..all a bit random and hugely annoying. Also the site keeps timing out after about 20 secs
I find the reading the expressions of success/ failure , frustration , gratitude , anger, longing and even elation strangely compelling .
Most human emotions seem to be involved !
Often good seats emerge quite close to the actual concert - for example this happened in montreal when row 4 seats were available a week before the show
By then though i hope to have good seats for other concerts in better venues than the 02
In the meantime i hope that leonard has a good break and continues to be in good health
That's my final comment before i have to desert/ escape this often frustrating activity and get on with other important things in life !

I tried for tickets the minute the link was live and was offered A3 row N, when I tried again said none available at that price, unbelieveable that they should go so quickly! Where did all the best seats go? Having been to the O2 on numerous occasions I do think you get the best view from the lower tier so went for that and ended up with Block 101 row J, overlooking the stage. Am just so grateful to have got reasonable seats. Thank you Jarkko.

I did post another message saying thanks to Jarkko but I think may be having a bit of a moment and have possibly posted it somewhere random, so I'll add my thanks again here.

Does anyone know of a detailed seating plan for the O2? I've googled but can't find one.

I don't think there is one. The setting changes all the time.
2012: 2x London (Wembley), Paris (Olympia) | 2013: 2x London (O2 Arena), Rome (Foro Italico Roma), Lucca (Piazza Napoleone), Manchester (Phones4U Arena), Birmingham (LG Arena) | 2014: ...

Had to whizz straight off to the dentist after getting my tickets, so am only just seeing how everyone else did

Doesn't seem like there was a lot of A2 available. My first attempt I was offered 2 x A2 row J which I rejected in the hope of something better - I never learn  Obviously I was told after that there were no more A2 available - seems to have gone in seconds, or everyone else was trying to make their mind up to stick or twist.

In the end I got A3 row E, which all things considering I'm pleased with. I can't remember how far off to the side it is, but at least it's Javier's side, so I'll get to see Leonard when he comes over.

And I understand that the numbering of seats at least in Block A goes from 1 (extreme left of Block A1) to 50 (extreme right of Block A3 - where we happen to be!) -- no exactly sure but 15-35 or so puts you in the middle (A2) I think!

Ah, I've got 40-something in A3, so am going to be quite far out. As I feared.

Not as far out as me (seats 49 and 50) .. I broke one of my two golden rules for pre-sales .. no worse than fourth row and never without a seating plan! :(

After a few attempts, managed to get Row C in A3. It's a gamble, though, as you never know whether to hold on to seats or try again. I must admit my usual event booking is for theatre, classical concerts or opera - if these venues can let you select a seat I don't see why pop venues cannot - plus no booking or transaction fee! Maybe they just like inducing stress!
