Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds have revealed plans for one live date in North America, set to follow the release of their 'beautiful' new album.
According to The Scenestar, the Australians will play Humphrey's Concerts By The Sea in San Diego, California on April 16, 2013.
The date of the concert has sparked rumours that the band will also be playing the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, which next year takes place over two weekends, April 12-14 and 19-21, also in California.
In September, Cave confirmed that his band's new album would be released at the start of next year.
Speaking on BBC Radio 6, the frontman said: "I'm really excited about that. We haven't done one for a while."
He added that working on the follow-up to 2008's 'Dig, Lazarus, Dig!!!' was: "a real pleasure… to find[ing] the time to take off a significant amount of time from other projects, which were always supposed to be, kind of, extra-curricular. And just to get back with the Bad Seeds in a room and make a record."
Of the content of the album, he said: "It's really different. I mean, it doesn't sound like anything the Bad Seeds have done before. It's really good. It’s really very, very beautiful. It's not a ballad record. It's not like classic Bad Seed ballads. But it's very, very beautiful and it's far away from Grinderman and that kind of thing."

Push The Sky Away, which clocks at nine tracks in total, is scheduled to drop on 18 February 2013 and will be the group’s fifteenth studio record to date.
Cave had the following to say about the record:
The man continues:“Well, if I were to use that threadbare metaphor of albums being like children, then Push The Sky Away is the ghost-baby in the incubator and Warren’s loops are its tiny, trembling heart-beat.”
The tracklisting is as below and you can check out an album trailer beneath that.“I don’t know, this record just seems new, you know, but new in an old school kind of way”
