I'd trade both of these for some concert dates, no problem!Mordy wrote: Maybe they think we'll have had our share of big events, with the Olympics and Diamond Jubilee

Hyde Park I reckon
blur + the specials are playing there for the end of olympics bash, which coincides neatly with the start of the tour
there's also victoria park
and Old Trafford cricket ground

Re: When are the next dates and places?
Is this a hint that the 2012 tour is just the tip of the iceberg? I recall that in the Rolling Stone interview, Mr. Cohen said that he wouldn't want to do just a small tour. So... maybe there are several UK dates planned "in the long run" (2013?).jarkko wrote:Maybe the old iceberg theory would be a good explanation to this mystery, in the long run?
Re: When are the next dates and places?
I hope Leonard is as kind to Australia as he was last tour

One open-air concert in the UK?
I wouldn't say 'no' to the ISLE OF WIGHT
Gilly.

Don't want to dissapoint you but!!!somewhat_nifty wrote:One visible concert date and lots of dates below the surface?jarkko wrote:Maybe the old iceberg theory would be a good explanation to this mystery, in the long run?
The old iceberg theory is also refered to as 'The theory of Omission' (a term use to describe Ernest Hemmingway's way of writing), As a Journalist he learned to omit anything of little importance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not a good way to refer to the UK i think.
Lets hope jarrko wasn't referring to that 'Iceberg Theory'

Re: When are the next dates and places?
I wonder if anyone (Dear Jarkko...) can say when approximately the possible UK concert maybe if it were to take place? There's a gap between 14 & 25 August and then between 6 & 11 September and between 12 & 25 September.
I'm just wondering because if it's not in August I need to buy tickets for Ghent NOW!

You don't know what it feels like to be in Montreal. You would think, right? Three shows in four years, all in June 2008.

I hope John (Ehterington) when you mention it may be high taxes that keep Leonard away, is totally wrong.
