It is obvious to me that being a lancastrian you are not familiar with much of our history except that we always win whenever we play you at sport . Therefore I will fill you in with the details . philip.....i had a dream last night which warned of the differences between NORTH yolkshire and SOUTH yolkshire...best if we all stay south of the border away from fried yolks ..irate landladies....and unhelpful german taxi drivers

Oh Thanks very much Ken... so I am a nightmare :).... I think Henning looks very well in that football jersey :)

by the way, for all you non facebookers.... it was Hennings birthday yesterday so come on.... let the celebrations begin

...mr liptrot i think this needs some explaining.................................

..i travelled over the snowy north yorkshire moors today to see a play on the leeds city varieties music hall...next door to the music hall is a very posh (posh even for posh leeds) upmarket gastro pub called the white swan..although i was only having a cuppa tea meself i picked up the menu and nearly fell off my seat when i read what was being served with the fish and chips.....YORKSHIRE CAVIAR!!!!!..
...all i could think of was that it's a local term for mushy peas but surely not actual CAVIAR that comes from YORKSHIRE....surely not please tell me it's not please.....ta ken

Just looked in- and here you all still are! Amazing. A weekend in Yorkshire in September sounds good, especially if you can order the same weather as we had in Wales. Still not walking far, but at least I am not on crutches now.

Hope you're progressing well. My brother broke his leg a few months ago and he's just thrown his crutches away - but he keeps falling over! (just joking about the 'falling over' but he did break his leg - in three places (no - not three geographical places!!) )

Ha Lizzy that sounds like a very fun competition..... I dont know how to photo shop but maybe i will send in my photo in the sofa with Leonard...
